Your first goal is one finished shift: take an order, cook the patty, assemble the burger the ticket shows, deliver it to the matching customer, pick up the money, and clear the table. Then finish the night chores and only then use the shift clock again.
Queue with the tutorial on
The lobby sits between the Krusty Krab and the Chum Bucket. Step on a green Help Wanted pad or walk up to the entrance. Match Setup lets you set Crew Size from 1 to 4 and a Friends Only toggle. For a first run, set Crew Size to 1 and leave Tutorial on. Press Start. You can skip the police-boat cutscene. New accounts spawn as Fred, the Trainee.
Day 1 puts the current job on the left and yellow arrows on the floor. Follow that job. The restaurant has several prompts that look alike: the register takes orders, the assembly table builds the tray, and the customer prompt delivers. Using the wrong one does not finish the ticket.
Take one order
Stand behind the boat-shaped register and use TAKE ORDERS when someone is waiting. Read the bubble and the task list. The register label counts open orders. In one clip it read Cash Register: 1/6. That is a snapshot of open tickets, not a rule that you should fill six orders on Day 1.
Taking a ticket does not cook anything. For the first loop, carry one order all the way to the table.
Cook, then assemble
Go through the kitchen door and use the grill. A progress bar, or a red-and-green slider, tracks the patty. One walkthrough says to finish in the green so the patty does not burn. Stay with it. A patty left on the grill can catch fire. Pick up the cooked patty before you move to assembly.
At the assembling table, follow the recipe. The tutorial burger is a bottom Bread Bun, one cooked patty, and a top bun. Press Ready when it matches. Clear resets a wrong stack. A correct tray can confirm with YOU PREPPED A TRAY SUCCESSFULLY. Do not add cheese, soda, or other extras. Those unlock on later days. Day 1 is burgers only.
Deliver, then take the money
Pick up the tray and match the ingredients in the customer bubble. A matching customer can be highlighted green, and the Deliver prompt appears at that table. A customer eating the burger means that delivery landed.
When they finish, collect the cash and the dirty tray. The Day 1 hint says Collect all the money to end the day. A correct burger with money still on the table is not the end of service. Put trash in the indoor bin.
The Shift Report is the handoff out of service. A reviewed Day 1 report was headed DAY 1 and showed customers 2/2. Read your own quota. It also lists reviews and earnings. That report is not the night checklist.
Close the restaurant
Night tasks include cleaning workstations, mopping spills, wiping tables, and taking trash out to the dumpster. An empty-bin message only means the indoor bin is clear. Finish the other checklist items, then use the golden wall clock. Punching in shows Punched in by and your username, and a short Opening in 5s countdown starts the next opening.
If nothing advances, name the phase you are in. During service, compare open tickets with delivered meals and look for cash still on tables. After the report, follow the night markers. The controls are on-screen prompts. The game supports PC, mobile, tablet, and console, so a key from a PC clip is not universal.
After this loop works, the solo routine is about prep and matching, and cash versus Doubloons explains what the money you just picked up can buy.
